    1. Yes, Padrons! Which blend?

There was another cigar shop I use to frequent when I was in college that was one town over from my mom’s house.

Owned by an old Italian guy from New York ( I grew up in Massachusetts). Unfortunately, Tom passed away after I had moved to Arizona, to this day I have never met a more passionate gar shop owner.

It was small shop, but he arguably had one of the best humidors from a humidity standpoint, I have ever seen.

Even though I was in my early 20s Tom still treated me like an adult. Unlike the shop owner I use to get the Opus Xs, Tom was never condescending.

As graduation gift to myself, I got ahold of the Padron 1926 Series 80th Anniversary, Once the draw loosens up on that one it is wonderful experience.

When Tom heard I was graduation college he gave a 25 % discount, for cigar shops in the area was unheard of.

RIP Tom Fresoni. I have been there since 2013, but if you are ever in Norton, Ma, check out Cigarman. I think his son now runs, but not sure if it the quality has slipped.

Tom was a legend. He wasn’t shy of telling the regional sales reps with Ashton, Rocky Patel, or General Cigar what’s what…

  1. That’s awesome. I have a box of the Padron “Londres” series and I also love their “Dámaso” series, and my favorite cigar spot in Florida is on the narrow road between Dunnedin and Tarpon Springs (Alt-19), where my in-laws live. (It’s small but their selection is top-notch; no flavored cigars or hookahs is a plus.) We need to get together and smoke a stogie — or two! — next time you are in the Florida area!
